FAQ's
Does Microblading hurt?
The pain from microblading depends on a variety of things. Clients natural pain tolerance can be effected by menstrual cycles, medications, skin problems and overall skin conditions. For some people it may be very subtle, and others may feel severe discomfort. Therefore, we use a great anesthetic which fully numbs clients 95.9% of the time with no further discomfort.

Are your needles/tools clean?
Yes! Sterile, single-use tools are used for each procedure. They are safely disposed of after each treatment.

I want to do eyelash extensions. Should I do my brows before or after the procedure?
It is much better to do the eyelash extensions before the microblading procedure. If you decide to do the lashes after, you should wait 10-14 days. The reason for this is due to the difficulty your eyelash tech will have in avoiding the healing brow area while performing the eyelash extension. It is highly recommended that the outer portion of the skin is healed before moving forward with other facial procedures.

Do you use an anesthetic to numb the skin?
Yes! I use a lidocaine numbing cream which is applied before we start the procedure.

I am planning to go on vacation. Can I still get microblading?
The best time to do microblading is 14 days before or after a vacation. The reason being is that 14 days give the outer layer of the skin time to heal to protect it from water and sun damage. After a vacation, skin may be sun burnt so it's better to allow your natural complexion and texture time to resurface.

How long does the session take?

How long does it last?
Depending on the type of skin, and after care, microblading can last from 6 months to 18 months. Dry and thin skin have a higher retention, and thick and oily skin have less retention.

I have previous work done on my brows. Can I still get microblading?
Yes, you can! In most situations, previous makeup can be covered with beautiful hair strokes, but there are times when previous PMU may be too dark, the skin may be badly scarred or the previous shape doesn't fit into our natural desired shape. In these cases, it is safer to not work on the brows.

How far apart is each session?
After the first appointment, the second stage of the treatment is the TOUCH-UP in 30-60 days. It takes at least 24 days for the skin to heal completely, so the longer the better.

Should I wax before the procedure?
It is suggested not to wax at least a few days before the procedure and at least 20 days after. The reason for this is due to the sensitivity of the skin after waxing. Your microblading artist will be tweezing the extra hair as needed.
